According to NYC radio DJ "Old man" Ebro from HOT97, Drake has "got something" for the Rap God, should he choose to back his signee Joe Budden in his ongoing (wannabe) beef with the 6God. According to Ebro:
“I told Drake that the rumor was that Eminem was gonna gear up to come after him. He laughed. He was like, ‘That’s not gonna happen. He’d never do that and if he did, I’ve got something for him too.’ This was a private convo…That’s what he said.”
Now, IF this is true, its messed up that Ebro went and publicly broadcasted a private convo...which leads me to believe this may be some sort of a publicity stunt.
Now let me say, I love me some #6God, I respect what he's done, because I know how tough it is to do it in this city. I know how hard he hustled to get where he is, so no hating here from me. I also respect his self confidence, humility and intelligence. As much as people are saying he's "scared" to battle Joe Budden, because he hasn't responded to Budden's multiple diss tracks...this is the guy that wasn't afraid to battle another "rap god" in the form of Common (reportedly the beef was about Serena Williams) with this cold ass verse...and this was before Drake blew allll the way up!
That being said, EMINEM is a savage beast, an animal. Arguably one of...if not THE greatest rapper ever. Yeah, I said it. Drake is NICE on the mic...he's actually an underrated MC as far as I'm concerned...but gatdamn...EMINEM? An EMINEM that's charged up by the current reigning king of Hip-Hop (yeah, I said it. This is Drake's world right now) 6God may just take the L on this one if it's true (though I highly doubt it is).
