The condo boom happening in King West is far from over. In fact, it seems to be getting even more interesting thanks to detailed new renderings for a massive, mixed-use development set to crop up on King near Portland.
Now, I have some history with this development as the original developer was also the guy that owned the building Roosevelt Room used to be in and he planned to turn the old Scholastic building into a boutique hotel years ago.
Allied coming into the mix and putting the building VALDEZ is currently in though, I didn't see that one coming. It's a great spot and doing very well.
Here's hoping they take the retail space that's going into the ground floor when this opens in 2019.
